Our Outlaw Black Train Horn may not seem imposing at first glance but this only adds to the surprise upon hearing them as these 3-chime metal horns are some of the loudest horns that we carry. Our Outlaw train horn comes in a stealth black finish and comes with the required 3/8" solenoid valve already pre-installed for you.
The HornAir 228H air source unit we paired with our Outlaw Black train horn is designed with the train horn beginner in mind. Our 2-gallon tank provides enough air to give your Outlaw train horns a honk time of up to 5 continuous seconds and the pre-mounted Viar 280C Air Compressor will recharge the tank from 110-145 PSi in only 1 minute and 15 seconds. With a lot of the system already pre-wired and pre-plumbed for you, installation is easy and the install footprint is perfect for the trunk of a car or a toolbox of a truck.
Our HornAir 228H Air Source Unit is designed to be installed somewhere dry and free of debris, so keep that in mind when planning your installation.
(Note: Tank mounted air compressors are not fully sealed. For this reason, the manufacturer recommends the tank/compressor system be mounted in the upright position in an enclosed space away from moisture, dirt, debris, etc... Failure to mount this product as directed will void the warranty)
**Detaching the compressor from the tank will void your warranty on this kit. If you need a solution where the compressor is detached, please look at our 232 and higher models. **
